The name of her can also be stylized by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015 and was praised by musicians and music blogs as well as from the media. She's also recorded some high-profile covers, such as Half the World Away (by the group Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) The songs are widely loved. Katy Perry, who endorsed the tune Runaway from her side, gave it some more recognition. Honor her day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano at her loft, where she was fascinated by the music. Parents May-Britt as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to explore music and not just as a profession or a hobby, but rather to gain experience. She started writing her own songs. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan as inspirations, and also a love for Bjork's style. She decided to start performing her songs publicly when her mom suggested they could help people to not become famous through her music but instead help people see around them realize their own importance and how they impact the world. In the age of 6, she began to play the piano, and when she was nine was writing music. They didn't let her parents know about it until she reached 14. Aurora did not have a set goal. Her words say that she just likes to write songs. For her, music is the most effective way to convey anything.
